How to use Your FSA/HSA Card for 38TERA purchasesUpdated 25 days ago

The process for using your FSA or HSA card differs based on whether you're making a single purchase or setting up a subscription.

For Single Purchases:

  1. At checkout, select Truemed as your payment option.
  2. Click 'Pay Now' which will take you to the qualification survey
  3. Fill out the qualification survey
  4. If approved, enter your FSA or HSA card details just like you would with any other credit card.

After the purchase, you will be redirected to a screen indicating that the order is being processed. The order is confirmed, but the payment is only authorized, not processed. The payment will be fully processed once a letter of medical necessity is issued by a medical provider. If the letter is not issued, the payment authorization and the order will be cancelled.

For Subscription Purchases:

  1. Complete your purchase as usual. You won’t see the Truemed option during checkout.
  2. After your purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation on your order and in the post-purchase email, letting you know that your subscription is FSA/HSA eligible.
  3. Click the Truemed link provided in the confirmation or email, and follow the instructions to get your Letter of Medical Necessity.
  4. Truemed will follow up over email with information on eligibility and instructions to submit your receipt and Letter of Medical Necessity to your HSA/FSA administrator for reimbursement.

Important:
The Letter of Medical Necessity is valid for one year, so you can use it to submit for reimbursement each month.
