Your satisfaction is important to us, and while we believe in the transformative benefits of our formulations, we understand that every individual’s experience may vary. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible for a refund or return, subject to the guidelines outlined below.  Our refund and return policy is designed to balance flexibility with fairness, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers while preventing policy abuse.

38TERA offers a “30 day risk free trial”, which means that a customer is eligible to receive a refund for a single unit of a 38TERA product, provided that request is made within 30 days of delivery of that single unit. Full details on our return and refund process are outlined below and these policies apply to all returns and refunds for products purchased on our website, including the “30 day risk free trial”. Please note that this refund and return policy applies exclusively to orders placed on our official website and is subject to change without notice. To request a refund, please visit the 38TERA Returns Portal within 30 days of receiving your delivery. 

By purchasing from our official website (https://38tera.com/), you agree to the following return and refund policy. This policy is subject to change without notice.

1. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

  • You may request a return or refund within 30 days of receiving your delivery. 

  • Requests made after 30 days of delivery are not eligible for a refund or return.

  • One opened product per customer is eligible for a refund. You must submit your request within 30 days of delivery, and you will not need to return the opened product.

    • Additional opened products are not eligible for a refund and cannot be returned.

    • If you purchased multiple products, any unopened and sealed product may be returned for a possible refund if requested within 30 days of delivery. Please see “Conditions for Returns and Refunds” below, which specifies how this works.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method or as store credit, based on the customer's selection in the 38TERA Returns Portal.

    • Store credits will be issued via a coupon code for use on future purchases on https://38tera.com/

  • This policy applies only to purchases made directly from our official website and does not cover purchases from third-party retailers.

2. Conditions for Returns and Refunds

  • Refunds for returned items will be processed only after we receive and inspect the returned items at our warehouse to ensure they are still sealed and in good condition. This process may take up to 10 business days from receipt.

  • Please allow 5-7 days for refunds to be processed and posted to your account.

    • If after this time you have not received your refund, please contact us at [email protected].

3. Refund Limitations

  • Customers who have previously received a refund for an opened product are not eligible for refunds on opened products of the same SKU in future orders, unless the item arrives damaged or defective.

  • Approved refunds only cover the cost of the products purchased and do not include shipping, handling, or merchandise costs. 38TERA reserves the right to deduct these expenses from the refund that is issued.

  • If your order included complimentary merchandise (e.g., drink bottles, measuring spoons, containers, etc.), the retail value of these items will be deducted from any refund issued.

  • Refunds will be issued at the price you paid at the time of purchase, not the current advertised price.

  • Repeated refund requests are not allowed to prevent abuse of our policy.

    • We reserve the right to deny refunds to customers who repeatedly request refunds or engage in suspected abuse of our return policy.

4. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Please be aware that ALL shipping costs and ALL complimentary merchandise costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund prior to processing. 

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping and handling fees if you decide to return one or multiple products. The cost of the prepaid return labels will be deducted from your refund total.

  • If returning items, you must ensure they are securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

  • All shipping fees are non-refundable, including the original shipping cost and the cost of return shipping.

  • If a return label is provided by us, it must be used within 28 days of issuance. If the return label expires, we will deduct the cost to purchase an additional return label from your refund total.

5. Damaged or Defective Products

  • If a product arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery.

  • To qualify for a refund or replacement, you must provide clear photos of:

    • The damaged product, and

    • The original shipping box.

  • We reserve the right to deny a refund or replacement if adequate proof of damage is not provided.

6. Chargeback and Fraud Protection

  • Chargeback & Fraud Protection: If a customer initiates a chargeback after receiving a refund under this policy, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with evidence of compliance with our stated terms.
