Will DMN help with bloating issues?Updated 3 months ago

Actazin, one of the ingredients given at therapeutic doses in DMN, has been shown to help with bloating. DMN is certified low FODMAP, meaning that it is less likely to cause bloating compared to high FODMAP alternatives.

If you develop bloating while using DMN, there is likely a medical reason for this, and it should be discussed with your healthcare provider. Common causes include constipation, food intolerances, IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, or histamine intolerance. One strategy to address this is to reduce the amount of DMN that you take (1/2 teaspoon per day or less) and increase as tolerated. "Low and slow." Another strategy is to address the underlying medical issue prior to introducing DMN with your healthcare provider. For example, people with constipation will tolerate DMN much better by getting their bowels moving before introducing DMN.
